Bio: Chief Strategy Officer Tsion Gonen serves as SafeNet's Chief Strategy Officer. Mr. Gonen is responsible for developing SafeNet's global business and product strategies. He leads the development of new business strategies that identify, capture and capitalize on emerging market key trends within the information security market. Mr. Gonen leads the company's worldwide marketing efforts, including strategic positioning, and brand management, ensuring that the company's vision and long-term strategy is effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders. Prior to assuming his role as Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Gonen was responsible for overseeing the company's Data Protection product portfolio strategy and execution. Mr. Gonen joined SafeNet in April 2009 from Aladdin Knowledge Systems, where he led Aladdin's global sales and marketing efforts, focusing on driving the company's go-to-market strategy and sales execution. Prior to that role, Mr. Gonen led Aladdin's Content Security business unit, directing its growth strategy in the worldwide enterprise market. Before joining Aladdin, Mr. Gonen served as the Managing Director of the Middle East distributor of Sony Ericsson where he as was instrumental in significantly increasing revenues and expanding the company's client base. Prior to joining Sony Ericsson, he served as Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Emblaze Mobile. Mr. Gonen holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
