Haking the Next Generation - David Schwartzberg NolaCon 2016 (Hacking Illustrated Series InfoSec Tutorial Videos)
Haking the Next Generation
David Schwartzberg

Kids are wired to learn. They are learning while they are playing so why not give them an environment where they can play while they are learning. A group of volunteers created a conference, which later became a 501(c)(3) charity, to give kids ages 7 thru 17 a technology playground. In this technology playground, children can explore science and technology, learn Internet safety and best practices...while having fun. They get to compete in a jrCTF, win prizes, get trained in hands-on workshops, listen to interesting speakers and interact with experts in the fields of IT and InfoSec. Just like you do at this conference.

David Schwartzberg is a Sr. Security Engineer at MobileIron, a mobile security company, where he specializes in mobile and network security. Utilizing his 6 years accounting experience and combined 22 years InfoTech and InfoSec experience, he speaks regularly with technology executives and professionals to help protect their corporate secrets and stay compliant. In his spare time he co-founded Hak4Kidz, and has blogged for Dark Reading, Naked Security, Barracuda Labs and currently for MobileIron Rethink:Security. He has spoken at conferences such as Black Hat Arsenal, BSides, Converge, DerbyCON, GrrCON, OWASP AppSec, THOTCON, DEF CON Wall of Sheep Village, (ISC)2 Congress and several others.
