The fields of Digital Forensics, Incident Response and Security all involve practical cryptography. This talk covers the breadth of cryptography knowledge that will be useful to someone in one of those fields. It will cover cryptographic primitives, the protocols made out of those primitives, and the pitfalls of cryptographic systems. The goal is to provide the audience with background knowledge that will be of real value in decision making and problem solving.
