Domain registration is rarely thought of as a security issue, until the domain is hijacked or someone forgets to renew it and then it becomes a major headache for security. This session grew out of a 5 minute Ignite Talk and will guide attendees through the process of creating and enforcing a domain registration security policy. This session applies to organizations of all sizes and focuses on how to securely manage the domain registration process and how to secure your domains with your domain registrar to prevent hijacking and other mistakes. Allan has more than 15 years' experience in the world of information security and has worked as both a security practitioner and an ethical hacker. Allan has helped countless organizations improve their security posture using more effective intelligence.
