With the speed of adoption for Internet of Things it is no surprise that even the most basic security flaws are again prevalent in our smart devices. In this presentation I explore my journey to uncover several critical security vulnerabilities in a popular smart irrigation system using basic testing tools and techniques. This presentation is the final stage of the responsible disclosure process.
