Bio: Helen is the CISO at The Ohio State University, where she manages the Enterprise Security team, and oversees Information Risk and Control Governance across University units. The Security team is responsible for Information Security policies and Standards, as well as providing Security Services to address control requirements. Helen chairs the University Information Security Advisory Board, which governs the execution of the Universitys Information Security Framework. Helen works to encourage inclusivity in the Information Security profession, and to mentor people interested in pursuing a career in Security, Privacy and Risk Management. Helen holds certifications as a Certified Information Systems Auditor and Certified In Risk and Systems Control, from ISACA. She is also a member of the Information Systems Security Association, Women for Economic and Leadership Development, and the CISO Executive Roundtable.
