Description: Tizen is a new mobile operating system that companies like Samsung, Intel/McAfee are investing in. Rivaling Android, companies like Samsung are releasing Tizen based smart phones in 2013 due to its ease of development of its web-based applications. This presentation will take a look at the Tizen platform pointing out weaknesses, best practices, its threat model, and going through a Tizen application pen-test.

Bio: AntiTree is one of the hackers that works at the Intrepidus Group. He specializes in mobile security ranging from Android to iOS to Brew and whatever else. By day he puts on the info-sec hat and by night he tries to be a contributing member of the hacker community. He is the organizer of his local 2600 group and co-founder of the hackerspace Interlock Rochester.
