Designed primary for managing documents and facilitation communication and collaboration within an organization, it can also become a big security hole in organization when not setup properly. The presentation goes of some of the basics of SharePoint, tools for exploiting SharePoint and what you can do to close the exploits.

Michael Wharton is a software hacker before hacking was cool. A software developer and consultant for over thirty years and certified in over 44 Microsoft Certifications, Michael has a passion for using and learning PowerShell and automating all his work. In his day-to-day life, Michael is a SharePoint/Project consultant and keeps an eye on security. He installed and configure over thirty SharePoint farms in the past ten years and has discovered several exploits of SharePoint if not properly protected.
