The art of data exfiltration is in getting the goods past security, both digital and analog. There are a myriad of ways to do this, but most involve in-channel methods of obfuscation. This talk will describe a method developed to break out of that paradigm, by using packet metadata to transmit the data. It will include a live demo of the operating software. Matthew Lichtenberger is a Hunt Team Researcher at the SOC for UPS, with a M.S. in Computer Engineering & Computer Science from the University of Louisville Speed School.
