Beam Me Up Scotty! – Passwords in the Enterprise - Dimitri Fousekis

Abstract:This presentation is an in-depth discussion to passwords within corporate and enterprise environments. The goal is to highlight the challenges faced by Enterprises when it comes to managing identity information and in particular such information related to SOA and enterprise-wide password management. The failures of password management along with real-world examples will provide insight into why it can be challenging but possible to implement highly secure password best-practices not only for users, but through to algorithms used, password databases and identity stores.

Bio:Dimitri is a prominent member of the password cracking community, and a member of Team Hashcat. He currently works as a Penetration Tester and a Team Lead of the Pentesting Team at Telspace Systems in South Africa.
