Build a UAV! - Have you wanted to build your own autonomous vehicle? Have you wanted a plane or quadcopter to do your bidding? Want to know what you can do with one? In this session, I'll cover the different options that you have to build/manufacture your own. We'll discuss what you could equip the UAV with and what you might be able to use it for. We'll go over the cost considerations and the realistic limitations.

Sonny Mounicou is a Director of IT Applications for a large claims management company. He has been in IT for approximately 12 years and has led software development implementations around the world. When not traveling on business, he can be found at home with his wife and two children. Sonny has a Masters in Business Administration, has co-authored a book, and published several papers on NLP Research.

Sonny’s current pastime is making things. Sonny has equipped his home fabrication lab to rival the most well equipped hackerspaces and can regularly be found building new creations.
