This presentation follows the methods and techniques we use in the business to discover who is behind malicious activities like libel on the web. It covers standard OSINT techniques and tools in a simplistic setting. Material is appropriate for beginner to moderate research abilities. This is a limited introductory overview of a process that has extensive depth in all the components. An hour long presentation could be made on any aspect, if not more. It is not a complete treatise, and practitioners should delve further before utilizing any of the information here.
